Chairperson BISP, Argentinian envoy discuss social sector cooperation

Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Marvi Memon has floated the idea of creating a league of social safety nets all over the world working for the welfare of the poorest segments.
She was talking to Ambassador of Argentina Rodolfo Jose Martin Saravia in Islamabad today.
They discussed the possibility of collaboration between research organizations in the social sector.
They underlined the need of mutual cooperation between BISP and social protection programs being run in Argentina.
The Argentinean Ambassador said there should be focus on special products of the two countries which may be used for the benefit of poverty alleviation.
