Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal Bin Farhan has rejected media reports of purported meeting between Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Suleman and Israeli officials.

In a Tweet, he said no such meeting took place and only American and Saudi officials were present during recent visit of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Kingdom. 

Earlier, in an interview with Reuters, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud said the kingdom's position had not changed despite two other Gulf Arab states signing US-brokered agreements with Israel.

He said Saudi Arabia and Israel have no formal diplomatic relations, but a move to full normalisation still faces big hurdles.

He said no Israel normalisation before Palestinian peace deal.
