Schools resume classes of 6th to 8th under strict SOPs

In the light of the government's decision to reopen educational institutions under the second phase, the schools resume classes of 6th to 8th under strict SOPs in the country from today.

Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Shafqat Mahmood formally announced the decision to reopen the middle level classes in schools during a media briefing in Islamabad.

He however said that the Sindh government has decided a week delay in implementing the decision to further review the COVID-19 situation.

Shafqat Mahmood said after strictly monitoring the COVID-19 situation for next one week, the government would be able to make a decision about reopening of primary level institutions.

He urged the parents, students and teachers to strictly follow the SOPs to prevent the pandemic.
