The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation is primarily centered on its member nations' Central Asian security-related concerns, often describing the main threats it confronts as being terrorism, separatism and extremism. It is a good platform. It is commendable that Pakistan is hosting this meeting and Indian delegation is also participating in it. This meeting will increase understanding among member countries and will help to reduce mistrust.

There is no doubt that SCO appreciates our significant role in war on terror. Basically, it is a new era of cold war and it is also shifting slightly towards a hot war. International community should acknowledge Pakistan’s sacrifices in war on terror.
