United Nations has lauded China for taking the lead to address global challenges ranging from climate change to possible misuse of new technologies.

Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva, Michael Moller said in a statement the biggest problem facing the world is climate change.

Praising China's policies to support multilateralism and free trade, he called on countries to reinvent international solidarity and reinforce multilateralism.
