Qatari businessmen have expressed the keen interest to invest in various sectors of Pakistan and providing a bilateral framework of trade to enhance exports from the country.
The desire was expressed at a meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and a delegation of Qatar Businessmen Association led by Chairman Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Bin Faisal Al-Thani in Doha.
The delegation expressed interest of investing in Pakistan's large-scale manufacturing, transportation and food production sectors.
Later, Secretary General of the Supreme Committee of Delivery & Legacy Hassan Al-Thawadi briefed the Prime Minister on FIFA 2022 preparations.
He also promised to focus on encouraging skilled manpower import from Pakistan.
The Prime Minister also welcomed a delegation of Qatar Chamber led by Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Bin Mohammed Al-Thani.
