NHA spent over 3,477m on maintenance of roads in KP
200 million rupees were allocated for 78.2 km section of Nowshehra-Chitral and construction of Takht Bai flyover
The National Highway Authority has spent 3,477.740 million rupees on maintenance of roads in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the Annual Maintenance Plan.
According to NHA official, for the next year's Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) funds were allocated for several highway projects in KP.
Some 200 million rupees were allocated for 78.2 km section of Nowshehra-Chitral and construction of Takht Bai flyover.
For 34 km Peshawar Northern Bypass 1000 million rupees was earmarked, while for Lowari Tunnel and Access Roads (Dir) 2000 million rupees was set aside. Similarly for rehabilitation of D.I Khan Mughal Kot 50 km Section N-50 Rs 2000 million were allocated.
For western alignment and other China Pak Economic Corridor projects land acquisition and construction 10,000 million rupees was earmarked and for construction of Burhan-Havelian Expressway 2300 million rupees.
