Balochistan government has allocated thirty-five billion rupees for the promotion of education with the aim to increase literacy rate in the far flung areas.        

An official of Bureau of Curriculum told our correspondent in Quetta on Saturday, that Balochistan Education Endowment Fund has been enhanced from six to eight billion rupees to provide stipends to fourteen thousand outstanding students for getting higher education at home and abroad.         

He said that more than three hundred fifty-two million rupees are being utilized to provide furniture, scientific equipment and sports goods at schools across the province.
