United States has assured continue support to Pakistan in its efforts to eliminate terrorism. 

The support was voiced by US National Security Adviser Susan Rice at a meeting with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in Washington.

Rice appreciated sacrifices and commitment of Pakistan's leadership to deal with the issue of terrorism in a comprehensive manner.

Interior Minister said National Action Plan (NAP) having backing of the entire nation is being implemented to wipe out terrorism.

The two leaders exchanged views on matters of bilateral interests and regional issues.

Expressing satisfaction over bilateral relationship the two sides agreed to continue momentum of cooperation in the wake of last Ministerial session on strategic dialogue process held in Islamabad.

They also discussed reconciliation process in Afghanistan.
