'Govt announced many packages to uplift Balochistan'
Analysts say uplift of Balochistan is top priority of the government.
Speaking in Radio Pakistan’s program, MNA Dr. Dostain Domki said: “PM visited Balochistan and announced many relief packages for the province. PM should also talk to estranged Baloch leaders. PM should visit Balochistan on regular basis or after every fifteen days.”
BNP leader Mir Hasil Bizenjo said: “PM visited Balochistan accompanied by Gen. Raheel Sharif and DG ISI. They inspected the passing out parade of first batch of Balochistan counter-terrorism force in Quetta and announced relief package of 50 billion rupees for Balochistan. Federal government should focus on elimination of deprivations of Baloch people. Balochistan will get more benefit from Pak-China Economic Corridor and Gwadar Port projects.”
Former Ambassador Mushtaq Ahmed Mehr said: “Pakistan and Turkey have long and deep bilateral relations. Present PM of Turkey has soft corner for Pakistan. Visit of Turkey’s PM to Pakistan has vital importance for bilateral relations. This visit will result in improvement of trade relations between the two countries. Turkey has been taking interest in investment in different development projects in Pakistan which will help to improve the economy of our country.”
Defense analyst Lt. Gen (Retd) Talat Masood said: “Pakistan has always supported peace and stability in the region especially in Afghanistan. Leadership of both countries vowed to support each other in war against terrorism. New Afghan president seems sincere to eliminate terrorism from the territory. China also supports peace and stability in Afghanistan and wants to improve its trade relations with Afghanistan.”
