Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz is prepared to go to New Delhi but India is now changing its previous position.

Reacting to the news conference of the Indian External Affairs Minister, in an interview, he said Pakistan believes in dialogue as disputes can only be resolved through talks.

He said Pakistan respects prestige and honour of other countries and expects others to respect our honour and dignity.

To a question, he said apart from terrorism, the two countries should also discuss the root causes of terrorism.

He said if India is entitled to its views on terrorism then Pakistan too has its position and evidence of Indian involvement in acts of terrorism in Pakistan. He said if India has complaints then Pakistan also complaints and these should be heard.

Replying to a question about India attaching pre-conditions to the meeting of the National Security Advisors, the Information Minister said nowhere in the world the host puts restrictions on the guest to do this or not to do this before coming to India.

Asked to comment on Indian Minister's claim that Kashmiris have no role in bilateral talks, Mr. Pervaiz Rashid said talks would be held between National Security Advisors of the two countries. He said there is a reception by Pakistani High Commission and Mr. Sartaj Aziz would meet Hurriyat leaders on that occasion.

To another question, he said at Ufa the Prime Ministers of Pakistan and India agreed to discuss all outstanding issues and these also include Kashmir.
