Saad hopes to diffuse current political situation
Federal Minister says the government is willing to fulfill all demands lying within ambit of constitution.
Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has expressed the confidence that the prevailing political situation would ultimately defuse and issues would be sorted out.
In a television interview, he said the Government and the political parties are making efforts for the purpose.
The Minister said PTI is in search for a face saving and the Government is willing to do that. He said the sticking point of resignation of the Prime Minister can be linked to findings of the judicial commission probing allegations of rigging in elections.
Khawaja Saad Rafiq said the Government is willing to fulfil all demands that are within the ambit of the Constitution and the law and would not accept any extra-constitutional demand.
To a question, the Minister said containers were placed to ensure safety and security of protestors in the prevailing situation.
Jamaat-e-Islami leader Fareed Piracha said their party is making efforts to help avert any threat to the democracy.
He said some people have pushed things to blind alley and there is need to resolve issues through dialogue.
