Irfan urges PTI to review decision regarding tendering resignations
Prime Minister’s Special Assistant hopes PTI will respect peoples' mandate.
Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Irfan Siddique has hoped that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) would review its decision regarding resignations of the party parliamentarians.
Talking to a private television channel, he said PTI has emerged as one of the major political parties in the 2013 elections and it would hopefully respect peoples' mandate by playing a constitutional role for welfare of the common man in national and provincial assemblies.
Replying to a question, he said the government is making all-out efforts to complete the development projects at a fast pace to pass on their benefits to the general public.
He said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government, during its last tenure in Punjab, showed excellent performance across the province and initiated a number of welfare and development projects for well-being of the common man.
