US, Russia agree for objective probe into Syria chemical attack
The investigation to be held under aegis of Organisation for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
United States and Russia have agreed for objective investigation of a chemical weapons attack in Syria.
The agreement came during a telephone call between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.
They decided that the probe will be held under the aegis of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
The United States launched a cruise missile attack against a Syrian airbase earlier this month after accusing the government forces of carrying out a chemical attack in which many people were killed.
