Pakistan a Peace-loving State, Pursuing Friendly Ties With neighbors- Pakistan believes in peaceful co-existence with all countries of the region: Dar

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said Pakistan is determined to win the war against terrorism. Addressing a ceremony of Heritage Foundation in Washington on Friday, he said we are working for peaceful relations with our neighboring countries. Pakistan is hosting about three million Afghan refugees and bearing their expenses. There are about one point three million Internally Displaced Persons who left their homes due FATA operation and amongst them 75 percent have returned to their homes. The Finance Minister said Pakistan is looking forward better relations with the new administration of the United States.

More than 50 Afghan soldiers killed by Taliban suicide attackers at army base in Mazar-i-Sharif 

More than fifty Afghan soldiers have been killed in an attack by Taliban insurgents on a military base in Mazar-i-Sharif. US military spokesman John Thomas told media that attack was a significant strike probably involving more than 50 casualties. It occurred near a mosque and a dining area of the camp. It’s the deadliest attack in the country since July 2016, when two Isis suicide bombers killed 80 Hazara protesters. The US military confirmed that coalition personnel were present at the Mazar-i-Sharif base, but there were no reports of casualties.
