A tech-startup from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI) Swabi has secured second position among top ten innovators of the world in an international competition.

According to details, under sustainable future category of the Live WIRE global competition, the Pakistani startup called Greenovation also won a cash prize of ten-thousand dollars under.

According to details, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa based startup is a waste management and recycling business that transforms plastic waste into liquefied petroleum gas.

Meanwhile, Greenovation has set up its pilot plant in Peshawar with support of the provincial government which will be formally inaugurated shortly.
