Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has directed the Education Department to make sure the implementation of SOPs regarding Coronavirus in all government and private schools at all costs.

Chairing a review meeting about the latest situation of Coronavirus in Balochistan, the Chief Minister also instructed the concerned authorities to immediately submit recommendations in consultation with Balochistan Command and Operation Center and medical experts for taking steps to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 including smart lockdown.

He instructed to effectively monitor the situation of spread of the virus in the wake of reopening educational institutions in the province.

The participants of the meeting termed the spread of Coronavirus during the recent days as an alarming situation.

During the meeting, various important decisions were made including enhancement of testing capacity for COVID-19, provision of testing kits, PCR machines, PPE kits and other necessary equipment to the health department as per its requirement.
