A delegation of Thailand Board of Investment visited Karachi Port Trust and held meeting with Chairman KPT Rear Admiral Jameel Akhtar.

The delegation discussed opportunities for Thai investment in the projects of Karachi Port Trust and situation evolving in Pakistan after initiation of Belt and Road Initiatives and the CPEC.

Members of the delegation took keen interest in the projects of Karachi Port Trust and expressed their resolve to work for further enhancing investment ventures between the two countries.

Rear Admiral Jameel Akhtar briefed the delegation about the mega projects of KPT covering special economic zones, LNG Fuel Power Plant, Desalination Plant and Business District Hub.
