Special Assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister on Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Punjab is witnessing significant progress in the field of information technology.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore, she said that the Punjab Information Technology Board is playing a vital role in creation of job opportunities for the youth.

She said that the government has established 'e-Rozgar' centers across the province to provide training to freelancers and enhance their professional capability.

The SACM said that an 'e-building plan' project has been implemented in Punjab under which plans for commercial, residential, semi-commercial and industrial buildings will be approved in 30 days.
