WFP Country Director voices satisfaction over security situation in Pakistan
In an interview with Radio Pakistan, Lola Castro urges global media to work on showing positive ground realities of Pakistan.
Country Director World Food Programme Lola Castro says Pakistan today is more secure than that a few years ago.
In an interview with Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel on Wednesday, she said the security situation in Pakistan has improved a lot due to the prudent and effective policies of the present government.
Lola Castro said the international media should work on showing positive ground realities in Pakistan to the world.
To a question, she Pakistan is also striving to achieve the target of food security. The indicators of the mother and child health have improved in the country.
She said education system needs to be reformed, which in turn will change the mindset of the society.
The WFP Country Director said on completion of her tenure in Pakistan she needs to define Pakistan as the most diverse, beautiful and colorful country in the world.
