Should be no raise in private school fees this year: PM
The Prime Minister has directed the ministries of education and CADD to implement the directive
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has directed that there should be no raise in tuition fees of private schools for the current year.
He ordered Ministry of Education and Capital Administration and Development Division to implement this directive in letter and spirit.
He also asked Ministry of Education and CADD to hold consultative meetings with all stakeholders to devise a unanimously accepted policy of fee raise in private schools.
The Prime Minister said the authorities concerned should come up with proposed legislation to regulate the private schools to keep a check on fleecing.
