Advisor on Foreign Affairs says there is evidence that terrorists received phone calls from Afghanistan
Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz says initial investigation into Badaber attack has proved terrorists' contacts within Afghanistan.
In an interview, he said there is evidence that terrorists received phone calls from Afghanistan. He said further investigation is underway and it will be shared with Afghan authorities on completion.
He said it is not the first incident that terrorists had links within Afghanistan. The attack on Army Public School was also planned in Afghanistan and its information was passed to Afghan authorities.
Sartaj Aziz stressed bilateral cooperation and intelligence sharing between Pakistan and Afghanistan to proceed further.
He reiterated Pakistan's firm resolve to fight terrorism in all its forms. He said the deep-rooted network of extremists in North Waziristan has been eliminated.
