Govt to provide clean drinking water to masses: Shahbaz
CM says Rs 15 billion will be spent in 2014-16 to provide clean drinking water.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said work has been started on the program to provide clean drinking water to the masses.
In a statement, he said fifteen billion rupees will be spent in 2014-16 to provide clean drinking water whereas fifty billion rupees will be utilized to provide potable water to the masses in next two and half year.
The Chief Minister said Skill Development Program is being implemented to make the youth skilled. He said a target has been set to make 2 million youth skilled by 2018.
He said the government is making serious efforts to end terrorism and energy crisis.
