Mourning day observed in AJK over Bacha Khan University incident

The mourning day was observed in Azad Jammu and Kashmir over the loss of lives of innocent students and staff in terror attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda on Wednesday.

Prayer ceremonies were held at various places to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in this tragic incident and to offer fateha for the departed souls of martyrs.
Rich tribute was paid to all the martyrs of the country with the resolve to defeat the terrorists and to clean the country from the menace of terrorism.
In state capital Muzaffarabad, a prayer ceremony was held in Central Press Club where AJK Minister for Agriculture Syed Bazil Ali Naqvi and others offered fateha for the departed souls of students and teachers of Bacha Khan University.
Speaking on the occasion he said that attack on Bacha Khan University is worst example of terrorism and nation will defeat terrorists with great courage and determination.
Bazil Naqvi made it clear that such dastardly and cruel attacks could not hamper the success of operation Zarb-e-Azab launched by the armed forces against the terrorist.
Meanwhile, the AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed strongly condemned the violent incident of terrorism in University at Charsadda.
