Intelligence gathered to identify terrorists: DG ISPR
Asim Saleem Bajwa says 4 terrorists were involved in the attack and they all were killed by the security forces.
Security forces have gathered substantial intelligence data from Bacha Khan University to ascertain the whereabouts of terrorists, who provided them ammunition and who were their facilitators.
DG ISPR Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa said this while briefing newsmen in Peshawar.
He said four terrorists were involved in the attack and they all were killed by the security forces.
He said eighteen students and two staff members of the university were martyred in the terrorist attack.
DG ISPR said two mobile phones have been recovered from the site of the attack.
He said they have prepared an intelligence picture about the identity of terrorists and NADRA has also been provided maximum information on the basis of finger prints.
He said most of the hideouts of the terrorists have been destroyed and they are now targeting innocent people in frustration.
Asim Saleem Bajwa said the the whole nation is united to defeat the terrorists and achievements of the Operation Zarb-e-Azb are before everyone.
He said the terrorists will never succeed in their nefarious designs.
Meanwhile, NADRA have submitted a complete identification report of the finger prints of the terrorists involved in the Bacha Khan University attack.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has directed the concerned authorities to share the information with all Intelligence agencies and security forces for further action against the terrorists.
