Army Chief telephones Afghan leadership
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif made separate telephone calls to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and Commander Resolute Special Mission in Afghanistan General John Campbell.
Director General Inter Services Public Relations Lt. Gen. Asim Saleem Bajwa in a tweet message said the Army Chief shared details with the Afghan leaders based on investigations. Charsadda terror attack was being controlled from a location in Afghanistan through Afghan mobile phone by a TTP operative.
The Army Chief asked for their cooperation in locating and targeting those responsible for this heinous act and bring them to justice.
