Shahbaz launches programme for road infrastructure in rural Punjab
An amount of 15 billion rupees has been allocated for the programme during current financial year.
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Khadim-e-Punjab Green Roads Programme has been launched for the rehabilitation of roads in rural areas of the province.
Addressing a meeting regarding the programme in Lahore, he said 15 billion rupees have been allocated for the programme during current financial year.
The roads constructed under the programme will be carpeted. Saplings would also be planted on the sides of roads under the programme.
