Petroleum Minister says the government will ensure smooth supply to fuel stations
Minister for Petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said the supply chain of petrol would be restored soon as extra supplies are under way to cater to increased demand.
Talking in Radio Pakistan's current affairs programme, he said people should not panic about the future petrol supplies since the government has taken the issue seriously and would ensure smooth supply to petrol pumps.
In a statement, he said there is no shortage of petrol in Karachi.
The Minister said shortage of petrol will completely end soon.
He appealed to the people to ignore the rumours and buy petrol only according to their needs.
