Pakistan's economy achieved sound footings: Marriyum
Information Minister says Marriyum Nawaz will contest general elections in 2018.
Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says Pakistan's economy has achieved sound footings as reflected by various economic indicators.
She was speaking to the representatives of international media in Islamabad on Friday.
She said in 2013, law and order was alarming in the country, but now it has significantly improved due to prudent policies of the incumbent government.
She said present government has answered all the baseless and false allegations with its performance, especially in restoration of peace in the country in general while in Karachi and FATA particularly.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said the economic indicators are giving confidence to the foreign investors and to the government and people of Pakistan.
Talking about Panama case judgment, she said the government whole-heartedly accepts the judgment of Supreme Court.
She also informed the media persons that Marriyum Nawaz will contest general elections in 2018.
