At the outset of the proceedings of National Assembly, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Shaikh Aftab Ahmad said that all the political parties should honour the decision of the apex court and avoid creating hurdles in the path of investigation by JIT.

He said the demand of the opposition is reflective of their disappointment on the decision.

Leader of the Opposition Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah speaking on a point of order demanded that the Prime Minister may resign on moral grounds for transparent investigation by Joint Investigation Team.

Meanwhile, the members of the Opposition parties gathered in front of the Speaker's podium and started raising anti-government slogans.

They tore the official copies of the agenda apart.

Despite repeated warnings by the chair to follow the rules of the business of the House, the opposition members continued to raise slogans.

Later, the chair prorogued the House.
