President Xi concludes two-day state visit to Pakistan

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday concluded his two-day state visit to Islamabad, adding another chapter to the long history of deep-rooted Pakistan-China friendship.
The Chinese President and the First Lady were seen off by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his wife Begum Kalsoom Sharif, at the Nur Khan Air Base.
Soon after take-off, a formation of JF-17 Thunder aircraft escorted the special plane of Chinese President up to the end of Pakistan's airspace.
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, the Services chiefs, cabinet ministers and China's ambassador to Pakistan also bid adieu to the Chinese President and his entourage.
During his stay, President Xi met the Pakistani leadership, launched several mega projects and addressed joint session of the Parliament.
