Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold in upper hilly areas during the next twelve hours.

Shallow fog is likely to prevail at a few plain areas of Punjab during morning hours.

Islamabad and Peshawar five degree centigrade, Lahore ten, Karachi sixteen, Quetta minus two, Gilgit minus one, Murree two and Muzaffarabad four degree centigrade.     

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cold and dry in Srinagar, Leh, Baramula, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Jammu.     

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar one degree centigrade, Jammu nine, Leh minus seven, Pulwama two, Anantnag minus one, Shopian minus two and Baramullah zero degree centigrade.
