Participating in the Brisbane Test, Naseem Shah debuted for Pakistan at the age of 16 burst into tears on receiving his Pakistan Test cap from Waqar Younis Pakistan's bowling coach.

Commenting on the Naseem Shah, legendary pacer Wasim Akram, in an interview with foxsports claimed that he is a blessing in disguise as the fast-bowler would not feel the pressure usually associated with international cricket.

Earlier, Pakistan’s skipper Azhar Ali heaped praise on the rookie pacer by admiring the talent he possessed with the ball.
