A five-day anti-polio campaign began in thirteen districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.

According to Emergency Operation Center Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the districts include Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Mohmand, Khyber, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat, Tank, North Waziristan and South Waziristan.

More than three point one million children up to five years of age will be administered anti-polio drops.

About fifteen thousand teams have been constituted which will visit door to door to ensure administering anti-polio drops to the children.

Polio teams are also available at railway stations, bus stands and other public places to ensure administering anti-polio drops.
