China and the United States had constructive discussions on trade in Washington.    

Chinese State News agency reported today that two countries agreed to keep communicating on related issues, and discussed the details of the next round of trade talks in October.

Meanwhile, talking to reporters at White House, US President Donald Trump says only a complete deal with China on trade will be acceptable.         

Trump said he does not want a partial deal with China and will not accept one that only addresses some of the differences between the two nations.
