In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid rich tributes to prominent Hurriyat leaders, Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone and the martyrs of Hawal on their martyrdom anniversaries today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, senior Hurriyat leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Independent Movement, Bilal Ghani Lone, in a statement said that the deceased played a conspicuous role in the ongoing freedom movement.
While remembering Khawaja Lone’s contribution for the ongoing movement, he said that the martyred leader had dedicated his life for the sacred cause.
Others who paid tributes to the two leaders, Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone, included Khawaja Firdous, Abdul Hameed Butt, Democratic Freedom Party, Jammu and Kashmir National Front, Anjuman Sharie Shian, Ummat-e-Islami and Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi.
Meanwhile, two Indian policemen were killed in an attack by unidentified gunmen on a joint party of Indian police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force in Prichoo area of Pulwama district, today.
