Defence Minister, Pervez Khattak has said that opposition parties have democratic right to hold public rallies and demonstrations within the ambit of the constitution, however, no one would be allowed to take law in hands.

Addressing a ceremony in Nowshehra, he said the country needs national solidarity today and the opposition should not become a party in any conspiracy aiming to destabilize the country.

The Defence Minister made it clear that there is no threat to the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the government will complete its mandated period.

About economic front, Pervez Khattak said improving socio-economic condition of the poor people is top priority of the government and the Prime Minister in a short span of one and a half year saved the country from being economically collapsed.
