Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan says the government has taken a revolutionary step for progress of agriculture and prosperity of farmers.
In a tweet on Tuesday, she said the government has provided relief of four hundred rupees per bag under gas to fertilizer industry to ensure provision of affordable fertilizer to farmers. She said tax on gas supply has been reduced from 405 rupees to only five rupees.
The Special Assistant said provision of fertilizer to farmers at 400 rupees lower rates per bag will lead to progress of farmers and agriculture in the country.
She said progress of farmer and agriculture is the progress of Pakistan.
