Govt using every diplomatic forum to stop LoC violations by India: Iqbal
Parliamentary Secretary for Defense says Pakistan is fully capable to respond in a befitting manner to Indian aggression.
Parliamentary Secretary for Defense Chaudhry Jaffar Iqbal has said Pakistan is using every diplomatic forum including United Nations (UN) to stop Indian aggression on Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary.
Talking in Radio Pakistan's Current Affairs program on Monday, he said India is carrying out unprovoked unilateral firing and shelling on LoC and Working Boundary just because of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif's proactive stance on Kashmir dispute in UN General Assembly session.
The Parliamentary Secretary said Pakistan is fully capable to respond in a befitting manner to Indian aggression as our armed forces are fully equipped with every sort conventional and non-conventional weapons. He, however; said Pakistan does not want to become part of any offense with India. He said India will have to return back to negotiating table.
Chaudhry Jaffar Iqbal said India has never spared any effort to harm Pakistan because Pakistan strategically is an important gateway between South and Central Asia. It also gives access to warm waters to many landlocked countries including Afghanistan.
