Pak-Russia agree to expand cooperation in different fields
Finance Minister says Russia will lay a gas pipeline from Karachi to Lahore at a cost of two billion dollars.
Pakistan and Russia have agreed to expand cooperation in different fields, including energy, trade, economy and agriculture.
This was stated by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Russian Director of Federal Drug Control Service Victor Ivanov while addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Friday.
Ishaq Dar said Moscow's decision to lift ban on important of agricultural products from Pakistan would help increase exports to Russia.
He said Russia will lay a gas pipeline from Karachi to Lahore at a cost of two billion dollars.
Victor Ivanov on this occasion said both Pakistan and Russia are peace loving countries and share identical views on global issues.
Four MoUs were also signed between the two countries.
