Rs 180 billion earmarked for export promotion: Dar
Assures APTMA delegation about considering their proposals during budget preparation
A delegation of All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association called on Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad today.
During the meeting, matters in respect of textile exports, taxes and proposals for the next budget came under discussion.
Talking on the occasion, the minister said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has given a package of 180 billion rupees for the promotion of exports.
He said that while finalizing the budget, proposals of the delegation will be given due consideration.
Meanwhile, a delegation of fertilizer sector also called on Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad today.
The Minister on this occasion said that the government is providing subsidy on fertilizers to facilitate farmers.
He said during the current fiscal year, agriculture sector performed with 3.46 percent growth rate while overall GDP growth rate remained 5.28 percent.
