Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to restructure the Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization, which is working to produce electricity and control the prevailing energy crisis in the country.

Inaugural meeting of the organization's Board of Directors was held in Peshawar on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Tariq Iqbal Khan.

During the meeting, the secretary of the board gave a detailed presentation regarding the ongoing energy projects, the work place and problems facing during the implementation.

The members of the board also gave different proposals and stressed to complete these projects on time in order to control the energy crisis.

The board had constituted different committees to process the restructuring of the organization and to run the financial matters.
