Next yearsâ€™ budget to be people-friendly: Majeed
AJK Prime Minister says education, health and water supply sectors will be given top priority in upcoming budget.
The AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed has said that next years’ budget would be shaped in accordance with the aspirations of people in which education, health and water supply sectors would be given top priority.
He was addressing a development review meeting held in connection with next financial year’s budget under department of AJK Planning and Development in Muzaffarabad on Tuesday.
He urged the concerned officials to take measures to ensure that the problem of water supply in Pallandri, Sehnsa, Bhimber and other districts is resolved in the next budget.
He urged that the resources should be directed for promotion of education under national educational policy and special attention should be paid to technical education, teachers training and infrastructure.
The Additional Chief Secretary Development Syed Asif Shah gave briefing on the ongoing and next development projects to the meeting.
Ministers for Education Matloob Inqlabi, Rehabilitation Minister Abdul Majid Khan, Minister for Law Azhar Gilani, and Minister for Health Sardar Qamar-uz-Zaman gave their suggestions to make the budget peoples friendly.
The Cabinet Ministers, Chief Secretary, Secretary Finance, Principal Secretary and others Secretaries of government and heads of all departments attended the meeting.
