Economic reform process to be completed in three-years: Dar
Finance Minister urges Chambers and business community to stay engaged with FBR for consolidation of budget proposals.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said there will be continuity of economic policies and the reform process will be completed within three years.
He gave this assurance to representatives of the business community in a meeting in Islamabad today (Tuesday) to discuss budget related proposals.
The Finance Minister said that the Government believes in consulting all stakeholders in the process of budget making. He informed the traders that all discriminatory SROs will be abolished in three years and all the stakeholders are working together in this regard.
Ishaq Dar urged the Chambers and business community to stay engaged with the FBR for consolidation of budget proposals.
He welcomed the proposals from trade representatives and assured them that the government will give a serious consideration to their proposals before finalizing budget.
The chamber representatives discussed in detail their issues and recommendations.
The traders appreciated strengthening of Pak rupee and observed that it will have positive impact on the economy.
The Finance Minister called for promoting tax culture to allow the government to spend on socio-economic uplift of the country.
