Pakistan Army and Punjab Colors secured last two quarterfinal berths after the last day's league rounds in 33rd National Junior Hockey Championship at the Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium, Karachi, on Tuesday.        

In a high-scoring last league match, Punjab Color hammered Sindh Colors 9-2. Winners were enjoying 7-1 lead at the end of second session.        

Ghulam Abbas and Hammad Ahsan slammed two goals apiece for the winners. Qasim Ahmed, Muhammad Asif, Mohsin Sabir, Faizan Alvi and Hunain Anwar scored one goal each. Qasimullah scored the consolation goals for Sindh.         

Earlier in the opening match of the day, Pakistan Railways  beat Army 1-0. But by finishing second, Army also sailed into the last- eight stage.      

After the barren first session, Hamza Waheed notched-up the match winning goal in 41st minute of the third period.          

In another game, WAPDA routed Pakistan Customs 5-1.
