Shabbir urges Pakistan to take Kashmir dispute to ICJ
In occupied Kashmir, General Secretary of APHC and the Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party Shabbir Ahmad Shah has urged Pakistan to take the Kashmir dispute to the International Court of Justice.
In a statement issued in Srinagar, he said that Pakistan being a stakeholder of Kashmir dispute had every right to refer it to the international court of justice.
He appealed the permanent members of Security Council and UN Secretary General to grant Observer status to Kashmir in the World Body.
Meanwhile a report released by Kashmir media service today says that Indian state terrorism during the last twenty eight years has forced over thirty five thousand Kashmiris to leave the territory and live as refugees.
