AJK Election: All arrangements finalized
Material has been dispatched to the concerned authorities for presiding officers.
Over 26 lakh 74 thousand voters of 29 constituencies of AJK and 12 reserved seats for Refugees of Jammu Kashmir settled in Pakistan will exercise their franchise for 41 legislative Assembly seats.
AJK Election Commissions sources told our Muzaffarabad correspondent that 423 candidates belonging to different political parties including 204 independents are in the field to contest these elections.
AJK EC sources told that the election material has been dispatched to the concerned authorities for presiding officers.
The polling will start tomorrow at 8 AM, and will continue without any break upto 5 PM, however voters present in the polling stations will be allowed to cast their vote till completion of the process.
Meanwhile elaborate security arrangements have been made to maintain law and order situation and to meet any untoward incident during Polling.
