National Assembly Standing Committee on Water and Power has demanded of the government to ask World Bank to constitute a Court of Arbitration to adjudicate on the issues raised by Pakistan against India's ongoing construction of Kishan Ganga and Ratle Hydro-Electric plants without further delay.

The meeting of the Committee was held in Islamabad today with MNA Muhammad Arshad Khan Leghari in the chair.

The committee also demanded of the government to ask India for an immediate halt to ongoing construction of Ratle Dam till the issue is resolved.

The Committee was briefed on the agenda "Indian threat on Indus Waters Treaty and to chart out a course of action for Pakistan".
