Work on the construction of a new grid station is in progress in Malakand District to overcome low voltage of electricity in the area.

Official sources told Radio Pakistan Peshawar correspondent that the grid station will be completed at a cost of four point five billion rupees in three years.

Ninety kilometers long new transmission line will also be laid between Mardan and Malakand to improve power supply system.

The sources said with completion of the new grid station and transmission line, the problem of low voltage of electricity in the entire Malakand Division will be solved on permanent basis.
