Babar Khan has won the first Sarfranga cold desert Jeep Rally in Shigar, Skardu on Sunday. More than eighty drivers participated in the rally. On the eve of final round of jeep rally, talking to Radio Pakistan' correspondent Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan  Dr. Kazam Niaz  said Sarfa Ranga jeep rally will provide opportunities for the national and International tourist to see this beautiful area. 

India win toss and bowl against Sri Lanka in 1st ODI

India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bowl against Sri Lanka in their opening one-day international in Dambulla. The visitors, who last week achieved their first clean sweep in an overseas three-Test series, are now looking for more consistency in the limited-overs format.  Kohli, who made his ODI debut at the same venue in 2008, said his team’s aim was to to win this crucial match. 

England beat West Indies by an inning and 209 runs at Birmingham

In first test match, England beat West Indies by an inning and 209 runs at Brimingham.  The Score:-  England 514 for 8 declared and West Indies 168 and 137 runs.  

Fast bowler Muhammad Amir allowed returning to Essex

Pakistan have allowed pace spearhead Mohammad Amir to return to Essex and play Somerset in a crucial County Championship match, says a BBC Sport report. Amir’s Essex stint appeared to be over after Friday’s T20 Blast game against Sussex Sharks, following the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decision to recall its players.  However, the 25-year-old bowler has now been granted permission to return to Essex after undergoing fitness tests.

Najam Sethi confirms World XI tour of Pakistan in September this year

Reaffirming his aim to restore international cricket in Pakistan, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi has confirmed that the World XI team will visit Pakistan in September. Speaking at the development program ceremony held for Lahore Qalandars' players in Lahore, Sethi said that the World XI team will have big names from all the top cricketing nations.  The PCB chairman says he will announce the names of the World XI team within one or two days. 

World Senior Judo Championship to be held on 24 August

Pakistan Judo team is participating in the World Senior Judo Championship scheduled to be held at Budapest, Hungary from 24th of this month.  The championship will conclude on 4th of next month.
